At ages 15-16, David attended classes in philosophy, religious studies, history, and photography at The Ohio State University. At age 16, David's 50-page Essay, "The Ascent of Photography, The History, and Evolution of Photographic Imagery," was recognized and published for researchers by the University of Toledo Library Museum of Art. He sold his first series of photographs to a curator for art galleries in the city of Columbus at age 16. He then began two years of training in fine art photography and printing under a student of renowned photographer Ansel Adams. This mentor also did a 20-minute photo session one on one with President John F. Kennedy in the Oval Office.
From 1983 -1993 David became an accomplished professional photographer. His work (3 portraits of President Regan's children and grandchildren) was displayed in the White House during the Reagan Administration.   All of the rights to David's professional work product, ranging from commercial, studio, and location work, sold for just north of USD $8 million in today's dollars.

David moved on from his career as a professional photographer, and over the last 28 years, David Co-Founded 6 innovative software companies. His current company is Blockchain and Fintech based and distributed globally, as is he.
He used his iPhone to take a few images here and there during business travels which make up most of this site. In April of 2021, he decided to acquire his first real camera in 28 years, a Medium format Fujifilm GFX 100s. David now greatly enjoys doing "non-commercial" but serious photography, his first true love, along the journey of making a positive impact in this world.
From left to right. Mr/ Professional Studio photographer. Hanging with Clint Eastwood the day he finished editing his movie Gran Torino.  He was so cool and very down to earth, just enjoying life and making really good movies. Me on a  2 year sabbatical from business and doing deep research for my next start-up.  Me ready to launch it!
